Our story

Sweet on Chincoteague since 1965

For 60 years, Pony Tails has been Chincoteague's family-run candy shop — the place you stop on the way to the beach for a box of salt-water taffy and a slab of hand-made fudge. Same island, same family idea it started with in 1965: pull the taffy fresh, make the fudge by hand, and keep the bins full so everyone from kids to grandparents can scoop their own.
